Humidifier Microporous Ceramic Balls

Microporous ceramic balls are made from natural environmental mineral materials, compounded with rare earth antibacterial agents and photocatalytic materials, and processed through high-temperature sintering. These balls exhibit strong antibacterial and antifungal functions, along with water purification and activation capabilities. Utilizing the microporous and self-mineralizing properties of natural minerals, as well as the far-infrared radiation and high-temperature-resistant nano-composite antibacterial performance, they effectively inhibit bacterial growth, microbial proliferation, and issues such as water thickening, discoloration, deterioration, and excessive bacterial counts.

Antibacterial Principle
1. The microporous ceramic balls feature ultra-microporous structures with a specific surface area of up to 500 m²/g. This allows inorganic antibacterial agents to disperse across the ball's external surface and internal pores, creating millions of antibacterial contact points. When the balls come into contact with water, water enters the internal pores. According to the contact antibacterial principle, a larger contact area results in better antibacterial efficacy. Calculations show that microporous antibacterial balls provide nearly ten thousand times more antibacterial contact points compared to ordinary silver-ion antibacterial balls, ensuring high and long-lasting antibacterial performance.
2. The microporous balls primarily employ a combination of contact-type metal ion antibacterial action and photocatalytic hydroxyl ion antibacterial action. They leverage the excellent antibacterial properties of high-temperature-resistant nano-composite materials, synergized with the self-electrification and far-infrared radiation of natural minerals. This reduces water molecule association, promotes hydroxyl free radical generation, and enhances antibacterial performance. Additionally, it achieves high far-infrared radiation rates and activates water purification functions.
3. The microporous balls are infused with rare earth elements such as Ce⁺⁴/Ce⁺³, which possess high electrochemical potentials. These elements mitigate the tendency of antibacterial metal ions (e.g., silver, copper, zinc) to oxidize and lose efficacy, while ensuring a dispersed distribution of antibacterial elements within the material. This improves antibacterial efficiency, allowing for reduced usage of precious metals and lower material costs. Depending on material properties and manufacturing requirements, other components such as metal ions, metal compounds, and electroactive mineral materials may be added to further enhance antibacterial performance.
